Jeff Kortman | Peru Mission Trip
Jeff Kortman, a retired bricklayer from Western Michigan, recently joined a Reformed Mission Services (RMS) work trip to Peru—his third with RMS. Traveling alongside his son Ken and a team of skilled volunteers, Jeff helped lay block walls and prepare a second floor at the Evangelical Church in Alto Cusco.
Beyond the work, the team experienced deep fellowship, nightly Bible study on the Five Solas, and extraordinary hospitality from the Rivera family. Jeff writes, “Peruvians show their love through food—and we felt that love every day.”
Jeff encourages anyone—regardless of age or skill level—to consider serving with RMS. There is a place for you, and the locals love having you come.
