For the first 11 years of his life, Luke lived on the floor.We met Luke in Kenya on our fourth distribution day. He lives with cerebral palsy and had endured years of neglect—hidden away, unable to move, and left in constant pain. When he was found, he was severely malnourished, with a broken hip that had gone untreated for years.That day, Luke received his very first wheelchair. The fitting took hours, but he smiled the entire time, as if he knew his world was finally opening up. One team member stayed by his side, praying, singing, and offering gentle comfort—human touch he may have rarely known.Every wheelchair is a turning point.
