How You Can Help

Thank you for considering a gift to the ministries of the Reformed Church in the United States. There are many ways to help.

The primary vehicle for supporting RCUS ministries is the Endowment Fund, that benefits home missions,
ministerial and widow’s relief, foreign ministries, seminaries, acts of mercy, and more.
You may send checks to RCUS P.O. Box 7091 Defiance, OH 43512 USA or give online using the link above.

The RCUS  has partnered with GiftWise to provide our donors with no-cost wills. GiftWise is a TRUSTED partner with the RCUS, so this process is SAFE and SECURE. Gain peace of mind knowing that your estate and family will be taken care of.

Giving from an IRA

You can give from your IRA to ministry without any federal tax liability, as long as the gifts are qualified charitable distributions (QCDs). Distributions qualify for all or part of your required minimum distribution (RMD).

Benefits of Gifts in a Will

When you give a gift (also known as a “bequest”) in your will or trust, you model to your loved ones a legacy of generosity.
You also help ensure that your favorite ministries continue to make a difference, well beyond your lifetime.

Gifts that Pay Income

A lifetime income gift – such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust – is a wonderful solution if you wish to give in a substantial way but are concerned about having enough retirement income.

Gifts that Reduce Taxes

Most people give to charity in the form of cash because it is so familiar. However, this may not be the most cost-effective way for you to give. You can increase your potential impact – and experience significant tax savings – by giving non-cash assets.

Stewards Fund

Like a “charitable giving account,” you can give cash and non-cash assets into a single fund and then request grants be made to your church and other ministries that are close to your heart.
