Dil: Healed and Called to Serve

Dil was born and raised in a Hindu family. When he became severely ill, he tried every religious ritual and treatment he could find, but nothing brought relief. He was left in pain, disappointed, and hopeless.

Then a man named Jayaram visited him, shared the gospel, and prayed for God’s mercy. Soon afterward, Dil was healed. He began to love the Lord Jesus Christ and made his profession of faith on October 11, 2007.

Dil’s parents also came to faith in Christ after witnessing God’s mercy. Together, they began sharing the gospel with family and neighbors.

Today, Dil serves as an elder in a village church in Western Nepal, where he worships with his wife, children, and extended family. He continues to share the good news of Jesus Christ with his fellow villagers, rejoicing in Christ’s saving grace.

Pray that the Lord will strengthen Dil as he serves Christ’s church and proclaims the gospel in his community.
