Dr. George Edward White served as president of Anatolia College during one of the darkest chapters in Armenian history.
As the Armenian Genocide unfolded, he witnessed unspeakable atrocities, documented what he saw, and worked tirelessly to rescue Armenian orphans. Even after being forced to leave the region, he returned to help rebuild what persecution had destroyed.
His life reminds us that Christian service is often marked by courage, compassion, and steadfast faith in difficult times.
The ministry of Christians for Armenia seeks to follow this same example by faithfully serving the Armenian people through biblical teaching, literature, and the translation of God’s Word.
“The Word of God cannot be bound.” — 2 Timothy 2:9
