On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, eight pastors of the Western Classis gathered for a one-day fellowship event at Camp Chinquapin in Pinecrest, California. The gathering was organized by the Christian Education in the Church Committee, in response to the recommendation of Classis.

Held in coordination with the Heidelberg West Youth Camp, the event offered a moment of spiritual rest, reflection, and renewal. The committee extends appreciation to the camp leadership for graciously making accommodations for this pastoral gathering.
The gathering opened with prayer and a devotion from Psalm 133: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! We give thanks for this opportunity to dwell together in unity and for the blessing of mutual encouragement in ministry—a bond we rejoice in and hope to renew in future gatherings.
